The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is recruiting a full-time Clinical Research Professional. Essential Functions Screen patients for inclusion in study-based pre-determined criteria. Contact and approach potential patients for study participation. In conjunction with investigator and senior CRP, document and evaluate adverse events and response to treatment. Assist the Senior CRP with study-related activities. Perform routine physical/clinical/procedures. Maintain the American Thrombosis & Hemostasis Network (ATHN) Dataset - primarily responsible for entering patient data for all individuals with clotting and bleeding disorders seen in the clinic throughout the year. Ensure compliance with contract principles, federal regulations, laws, and the University of Cincinnati/UC Physicians Company, policy and operating procedures. Liaison with medical staff, university departments, ancillary departments, satellite facilities, IRB, and industry contacts. Required Education Bachelor's Degree must be in a related field. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience One (1) year of related experience. Additional Qualifications Considered Master's Degree. Experience in an academic or clinical setting in the area of clinical specialization.
