The team is agile and multidisciplinary - coaches advise students, work with employer partners, and teach a required career development course. As a result of the team's stellar workdeveloping relationships with students and employers, they were recently awarded the "Exemplary Career Center Program" by the National Career Development Association (NCDA). Job Overview The Career Services Center is looking to hire three career coaches to their team. The Career Coach is a passionate advocate for business students and actively leads and contributes to institution-wide efforts to further career placement. The Career Coach manages a caseload of students by providing career support including connecting students to industry specific employment. This position serves as a member of the Lindner Career Services team; provides career coaching to Lindner Business students, empowers students to explore their major and career through understanding themselves, gaining experience to complement their academic careers and preparing for experiential opportunities with their job search. Works collaboratively with professional staff and faculty to expand a culture of career throughout the Lindner College of Business. This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required.
