Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Hi Tech Engineering industry. The role is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will involve a range of administrative tasks to support our team and ensure the smooth running of our office.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing the front desk to provide high levels of customer service to employees, guests, and clients.
• Coordinating daily administrative office functions such as maintaining office supply needs, ensuring office/lobby cleanliness, and managing food deliveries.
• Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including email, mail, and packages, and ensuring timely responses and proper distribution to appropriate parties.
• Scheduling and organizing meetings and appointments, and assisting with HR functions.
• Liaising with external vendors and taking ownership and execution of items to completion.
• Actively participating in and assisting in the coordination of office spirit and networking events.
• Assisting with special projects as needed, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Utilizing various software applications and tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and other basic office skills.
• Managing customer service tasks, including answering inbound calls and data entry.
• Ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant in the Hi Tech Engineering industry
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls, providing exceptional customer service, and handling data entry tasks
• Excellent skills in email correspondence, ensuring effective communication within and outside the organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
• Possession of basic office skills such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, including scheduling, sending invites, and organizing meeting logistics
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced, high-tech engineering environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
