Description

We are searching for a diligent Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The role involves overseeing various accounting and financial functions, including the supervision of Donor Services Accounting and Reporting, FDTN Accounting and Reporting, CPP Accounting and Reporting, and Property Services. The successful candidate will also manage the enhancement of the Customer Relationship Management system.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial aspects of Donor Services function including review of account reconciliations, journal entries, designation payouts, and internal and external reporting related to contributions, grants, payouts, and annual campaign.

• Prepare audit work papers and confirmation letters for external auditors in relation to the Donor Services function and FDTN function.

• Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with Pledge Management & Collection Policy.

• Supervise collection efforts including research, communication, and reporting.

• Oversee FDTN accounting including preparation and/or review of accounting transactions, reconciliations with appropriate external data and sub-ledgers, and reporting.

• Review weekly accounts payable runs and bi-weekly payroll journals for CPP.

• Serve as the main point-of-contact for accounting & finance inquiries and requests coming from CPP’s CFO.

• Manage enhancements of CRM system and provide oversight and guidance to Donor Services Manager on administration of CRM system post-implementation.

• Oversee property maintenance projects, including negotiating contracts with vendors and managing relationships with building tenants.

• Manage and track Property Services department’s adherence to the annual operating budget.

• Develop and maintain schedule of operating reserve for maintenance and repair of significant assets on the property.

• Supervise team members, establish goals and expectations, provide performance feedback, manage conflict, and support team development.

Skills:

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proficiency in ERP Solutions

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Auditing procedures

• Familiarity with Billing Functions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
