This is a position providing administrative work associated with product lifecycle management, i.e. development and commercialization of new products, product change management and product decommercialization, for all Oronite Product Lines in the Asia Pacific region under Project Lead’s instruction using Oronite’s commercialization process and system (OPLM).

  • Assign tasks such as product compliance review, componentry review, freedom to operate verification, manufacturing assessment, BOM/specification creation, Product Data Sheet/Safety Data Sheet creation, commercial name assignment, final sign-off, etc. to relevant functions/individuals in OPLM to progress commercialization process on behalf of Project Lead.

  • Track progress of tasks and liaise with task owners to ensure tasks are executed within required timelines. Inform Project Lead of progress through various communication channels (e-mails, meetings, etc.).

  • Input general product information and data in OPLM under guidance from Project Lead.

  • Draft relevant paperwork such as SDS request form, part of PDS, etc. on behalf of Project Lead. Have them reviewed by SMEs/Project Lead and published.

  • Support execution of certain commercialization tasks (e.g. product property update, creation of Regional Blend Studies, creation of product hierarchy in SAP, etc.).

  • Help improve efficiency of product lifecycle management work by sharing learnings with PCS in other regions and by proposing improvement ideas such as new tools and processes.

  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualification:

  • Education - Critical: Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or above

  • Industry experience – Critical: 1 - 3 years of experience in chemical industry, preferably in lubricant industry

  • English skills – Critical: oral & written technical/business discussion in English

  • Communication skills – Critical: Ability to coordinate activities and communicate work status/results with team members and internal stakeholders

  • Project management – Critical: Project execution with working team within negotiated timelines under proper work prioritization

  • Analytical/problem-solving skills – Critical: Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems

  • Teamwork – Critical: Ability to share opinions/ideas openly with others, listen with empathy to others, collaborate with others
