Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (DAY SHIFTS, 7am - 7pm)

Northwest Florida Community Hospital (NFCH), in Chipley, FL, is seeking a FT experienced, energetic and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for our patients in support with medical Providers and staff, in our Emergency Room.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Provides professional direct and indirect patient care in an organized manner that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with a minimal of supervision. Is able to triage rapidly and accurately to determine priorities of care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's status and able to respond quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment. Charts to reflect both good patient care to ensure adequate charges for treatment. Promotes positive guest relations to patients, families, visitors, physicians, and fellow associates.

Education:

Graduate of accredited nursing school.

Experience:

Prefer one year of emergency room or critical care experience.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:

Current RN license with the State of Florida.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required to identify life-threatening arrhythmias.
