Quality & EHS Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality & EHS Manager to oversee the safety and quality assurance functions of our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for administering policies and programs to ensure that our products and processes meet established safety and quality standards. You will play a key role in the development, implementation, and administration of our safety and quality management system, while monitoring progress against strategic safety and quality-related goals.

What You Will Do:

  • Conducts safety and quality meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow-up assessments.

  • Act as the Site EHS representative with third parties, local councils, and regulatory bodies including HSE and the Environment Agency. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, Cal-OSHA.

  • Plans, implements, manages, compliance training programs and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on-premises or at service center site locations.

  • Maintain site-specific EHS program and plans in accordance with state and federal regulations and company expectations.

  • Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management.

  • Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.

  • Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved and documented standard work, internal policies and procedures.

  • Review customer engineering and production drawings and specifications to establish a base line for Quality Standards.

  • Hold training sessions as required to train workers in techniques for Quality Assurance in manufacturing our products.

  • Establish a report regarding the compliance of production to the Quality standards set by the Quality system and enforced by QCM.

  • Review all Standard Work Instructions, policy and procedures relating to Quality Assurance and submit recommendations for modifications or changes.

  • Ensure that all finished goods are shipped with the necessary quality reports required.

  • Review and maintain supplier quality performance information with purchasing.

  • Handle the complaints through the material review board and take appropriate corrective actions as needed to resolve it.

  • Operate, maintain, and provide all necessary S.P.C. requirements and other records and reports required.

  • Operate and maintain all Quality System requirements, coordinate audits, generate metrics, update and revise as needed.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 6+ years of experience leading quality and/or employee health and safety programs in a manufacturing setting preferred.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Proven ability to lead and direct the work of other employees.

  • Proven experience in personnel decision making, departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and build collaborative relationships.

  • Ability to problem solve, think critically, and conduct situation/root cause analysis.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Sound judgement and high ethical standards

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • The expected Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $131,300. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
