• Knowledge of the general principles of water damage and mitigation.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
• Comfort with using tools and equipment, and a willingness to learn how to operate water extraction and drying equipment.
• Removal of damaged flooring, tile, drywall, insulation, vapor barriers, etc.
• Safely completing all assigned jobs.
• Performing all aspects of disaster response including water mitigation, structural drying, and selective demolition of affected structure materials.
• Setting up equipment, taking moisture readings, and working in confined spaces.
• Cleaning and maintaining plumbing systems.
• Performing loss assessments, water extractions, dry-outs, and documentation.
• Leaving the job site with a clean and orderly appearance.
