• Under administrative direction, serves as the Web Master for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) supporting the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES).
• Plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews the activities of the Website Development team with responsible for maintaining the agencys Internet and Intranet services.
• Serves as primary liaison with DoIT managers in the oversight and technical support for Internet and Intranet applications servers including, but not limited to, the setup and maintenance of servers, applying enhancements, patches, and service releases, running daily backups, troubleshooting, and resolving problems with system software.
• Serves as working supervisor.
• Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Technology (IT) field.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
