Capgemini Test Analyst - Lab Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Job description:

The role is for a Lab Manager with the Quality Engineering and Testing Practice

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To work with a team of release engineers and deployment specialists, assisting in risk assessment, quality, and scope management of deployment technical project plans.

  • Able to manage software upgrades, develop deployment playbooks, assess production risks, automate deployment processes, communicate with relevant roles, prepare contingency plans, identify root causes for deployment related Issues.

  • Should be able to handle installation and commissioning of software and hardware for particularly focusing on lab stores.

  • Will be actively engaging with various teams within Client organization's or, plan integration work and testing, collect on-site information, and ensure smooth handover to maintenance and support teams.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Agile is mandatory

  • Experience in Linux/Unix Commands to verify the logs

  • Experience in Windows Server is must have and OpenShift Platform is nice to have.

  • Well versed with deployment process and validation checks.

  • Experience in Inventory management and Monitoring tools.

  • Ability to produce realistic software schedules, Project Management, Strategic/ Tactical Planning, Business Analysis and Development, Budgeting/Forecasting.

  • Demonstrates creativity and initiatives to achieve set goals.

  • A proactive learner with a flair for adopting emerging trends & addressing industry requirements to achieve organizational objectives.

  • Possess exceptional team spirit thereby helping in easy achievement of organizational & Personal goals.

  • Holds certifications in Agile, Azure and Scrum in Nice to Have.

  • An effective communicator with excellent relationship building
