Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Statewide Post Adoption Services Manager. Under administrative direction, this position will administer, direct, manage, and coordinate statewide Post Adoption Services programs, including, but not limited to Adoption Preservation, Respite, and Maintaining Adoption Connections (MAC). Additionally, the position will conduct ongoing fiscal, contractual, and programmatic monitoring of post adoption programs and will supervise subordinate clerical staff. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about children and interested in providing leadership of the Departments efforts to provide services to adoptive parents. Job Responsibilities

1). Serves as Statewide Post Adoption Services Manager.

2).Maintains ongoing fiscal, contractual, and programmatic monitoring of all Adoption Preservation, Respite, MAC programs, and other post adoption programs, including the Comprehensive Program MonitorReviewsfor each fiscal year and other verification activities defined by Department policy.

3).Reviews and analyzes statistical reporting and other data collected on services provided through the Departments various post adoption programs.

4).Serves as full line supervisor.

5).Develops systems for the ongoing assessment of training needs relative to post adoption services.

6).Attends and provides input into various meetings.

7).Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
