High-End Firm looking to build new team quickly due to rapid expansion.
Responsibilities:
· Analysis, consolidation and reporting of monthly financial information for actual and projection results
· Analysis of market cash flow statements and balance sheet on a quarterly basis
· Creation of critical standard monthly/quarterly reports
· Maintain the general ledger (GL), perform closing procedures
· Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting
· Analyze actual results and provide explanations for variances to plan and prior year
· Assist with year-end external financial audits
· Develop and document business processes, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures to maintain and strengthen controls and streamline processes
· Prepare financial management reports
· Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required with concentration in Accounting
· 2+ years of experience in the accounting industry experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
· Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, some data manipulation).
· CPA certified or CPA eligible
· Detail oriented and analytical thinker
· Outstanding analytical abilities and communication skills
· Strong problem solving skills
· Experience working effectively in a team environment
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Must be a “roll up their sleeves doer”, analytical, strong communicator
· Robust knowledge of GAAP
· Experience using ERP systems
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organization
