Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is based in Chicago, Illinois, and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Staff Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to maintain financial records, manage monthly revenue, and carry out daily accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Manage the preparation and upkeep of financial records

• Supervise the payment of bills to ensure timely completion

• Perform monthly revenue tracking and reporting

• Oversee month-end close procedures and processes

• Execute daily accounting operations to maintain financial stability

• Use software like FundEZ, Office Suite, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks

• Carry out general ledger duties and create journal entries as needed

• Supervise accounts payable and receivable to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and current. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management

• Demonstrated knowledge in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Proficiency in managing the General Ledger

• Experience in creating and maintaining Journal Entries

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks

• Experience in working with Oracle for financial management

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks

• Familiarity with SAP for financial operations
