Who will you be working with?

Our Commercial and Brand Team owns and supports the Salesforce CRM platform and Corporate Communications platforms for the global Wabtec organization. In this role, you’ll interact and partner with Technical Product Managers, our Salesforce Platform Development team, cross functional IT teams, and key Business stakeholders across the organization to support our business and help deliver on their strategic initiatives.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the IT Applications Excellence/Salesforce CRM & Brand Team group/division, you will be responsible for owning the integrity and quality of our Salesforce solutions. You’ll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and business partners and recommending the best solution for given set of requirements, including identifying the trade-offs involved with implementing one solution over another. You will need a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and possess solid communication skills to articulate your recommendations and solutions and gain acceptance from IT and business stakeholders. The role reports to the IT Director, Salesforce CRM & Brand.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a leading role in delivering Salesforce projects and solutions

  • 3 years minimum working experience with Salesforce (Sales, Service, and Digital Experience cloud platforms), including working knowledge of salesforce configuration, data model, and security/entitlements model

  • 2+ years product/project management experience working on and leading cross functional teams

What will your typical day look like?

  • Own the design of the Salesforce for Sales, Service, Experience and Commerce platforms

  • Develop and/or author technical business solutions, product presentations, and demonstrations

  • Review solutions and recommend improvements and optimizations consistent with best practices

  • Produce and assess high level designs with appropriate justifications

  • Establish and propagate best practices on solution design and delivery

  • Collaborate with colleagues and business partners/stakeholders to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements

  • Translate functional requirements into Salesforce features and functionality

  • Groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog, in partnership with Salesforce Product Managers; collaborate on implementation roadmaps

What about the physical demands of the job?

  • Employee is required to work on a computer for up to 8 hours per day

  • Employee may be in a sitting position for several hours per day

  • Employee must be able to read small text on computer screens/monitors.

  • Employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
