Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to take the next step in your career? A thriving and well-established company is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in a 100% onsite role. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and process the full-cycle accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.

• Perform daily approval, coding, and reconciliation of invoices.

• Resolve payment discrepancies with vendors and internal departments in a professional and timely manner.

• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.

• Lead the month-end closing of accounts payable, including accurate accruals and reconciliations.

• Monitor and analyze accounts payable aging, identifying and addressing potential issues.

• Collaborate with the accounting team on audits and special projects to improve processes and efficiencies.

• Assist in training and mentoring junior accounts payable staff, serving as a subject matter exper

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, with a solid understanding of accounting principles.

• High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.

• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of transactions while meeting deadlines.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with vendors and cross-functional teams.

• Previous leadership or mentorship experience is a plus.
