How You’ll Make an Impact

The Senior Project Manager, Marketing within Epsilon’s Project Management Organization (PMO) supports content marketing initiatives (insights, research, and thought leadership) with quality and consistency.

Many areas of our business are impacted by content deliverables, you will work with multiple stakeholders across Creative, Product, Vertical, Analyst Relations, Events and Performance Marketing. You will need meticulous organization, communication, and attention to detail to facilitate projects successfully.

In this role you will leverage a project management tool (Workfront) to facilitate creative assets as well as a content marketing platform (Optimizely) to facilitate content development. Prior experience using either tool is a plus, but not a requirement. It is more important that you understand project management frameworks to improve workflows and can identify efficiencies.

This is a new position requiring comfort with ambiguity. The ideal candidate will be proactive and enjoy innovating processes and contributing solutions. The SPM will report directly to the Manager, Marketing and will work closely with Creative, Product, Vertical, Analyst Relations, Events and Performance Marketing.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Epsilon’s Learning and Development Team will help you develop new skills. They offer frequent, optional trainings on a variety of professional development topics. Specialized in-house project management courses in PMP exam prep, Scrum, and Agile are also available.

  • You will have the opportunity to learn about marketing and advertising technologies from various perspectives by engaging with stakeholders from product, marketing, engineering, and sales.

  • Quarterly updates from Epsilon and Publicis Groupe leadership provide insight into our global business, where there are many possibilities for growing a long career aligned to your evolving passions and interests.

  • The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will be responsible for helping identify the best process in moving marketing work forward. You will:

  • Work with the Content Marketing team to manage project milestones for numerous deliverables across paid and owned channels, e.g. thought leadership, proprietary research, blogs, case studies, webinars, publisher articles, and organic social posts.

  • Keep the team focused on achieving the defined goals. Identify and solve issues and blockers. Escalate when appropriate.

  • Contribute to process improvements/ workflows and be an advocate of the standards and best practices for the PMO, e.g. use Optimizely templates as a starting point and build milestones, tasks, and subtasks within an appropriate timeline.

  • Schedule annual/recurring projects, e.g. audits of existing web content, refreshed tags and SEO.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Who You Are

  • What you’ll bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in program and project management.

  • Specific Skills & Abilities:

  • Capable of earning trust and influencing stakeholders without formal authority to required results.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and precision-driven. Able to learn and apply new technologies.

  • Thrives in an ever-changing environment, often stepping into the “unknown” to solve new processes.

  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills with the ability to articulate shifting priorities efficiently and clearly with a Program or Project.

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams (Other PMs, Marketers, Designers, and Executives).

  • Consistent ability to plan, follow-up, and alert stakeholders to roadblocks. When issues arise, be prepared to concisely explain the challenge with a potential solution.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

  • Mac/PC platform literate
