Capgemini Senior Project Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Project Manager(hybrid-onsite downtown 2-3 days/week)

Sogeti is looking for a talented Senior Project Manager to join our Chicagoland team built on the success of our people and partnerships. Come be a part of our -People centric- culture!

JOB SUMMARY

You will be responsible for building, managing and sustaining a center of excellence effectively. In addition, assist with strategy, guidance, standards, tools, best practices, research, support and training.

We are looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, team playerwith a strong background and skilled with a high degree of intellectualcuriosity and abilities with:

  • 8-10 years of hands on project managementexperience.

  • Managing project execution to ensureadherence to budget, schedule and scope.

  • Developing or updating project plans forinformation technology projects including information such as projectobjectives/ goals, scope, deliverables, success criteria, stakeholders,technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, andstaffing.

  • Establishing and executing projectcommunication plans.

  • Monitoring or tracking project milestonesand deliverables.

  • Submitting project deliverables, ensuringadherence to quality standards via reports.

  • Overseeing projects and guiding internal,client and vendor teams.

  • Working with product owners and productmanagers to ensure product backlogs are ready for the next iteration.

  • Facilitating discussion, decision makingand removing impediments.

  • Forecasting number of deliverables possiblein an iteration.

  • Performing risk assessments to developresponse strategies.

  • Negotiating with project stakeholders orsuppliers.

  • Utilizing project management tools andsoftware.

  • Project management methodologies (Agile,Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).

  • Driver-type personality, proactive,problem-solving, comfortable adapting to change and operating in anambiguous environments.

  • Creative thinker, and ability to recognizeopportunities, and stimulate internal actions to produce innovativesolutions.

  • Strong leadership skills to effectivelydrive programs, influence idea thinking.

  • Strong analytical skills with keen instincton how to gather meaningful data and construct persuasive positions.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects whilemanaging change and shifting priorities.

  • Ability to confidently interact withindividuals at varying levels and positions.

  • Strong organization and prioritizationskills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.

  • Project based work utilizing ServiceNow,Security tools and/or SaaS based tools.
