Affiliate Relationship Management Lead Job Description
Act as the senior point of contact for the US Region Affiliate Relationship Management Program
Own the US Region Affiliate Relationship Management operating guide, policy, and procedures
Maintain an updated inventory of affiliate relationships
Enhance communication between employees who provide intercompany services and those who receive intercompany services
Manage the team responsible for performing the activities of assessing risk and performance related to affiliate relationships
Engage with Service Recipients, support functions and stakeholders in an advisory capacity regarding the requirements of the Affiliate Relationship Management Program
Provide oversight through the development of metrics and reporting to assess, track and communicate risks related to affiliate relationships
Provides overall support to the team for all issues management and resolution
Engage with regulators, Compliance, and Internal Audit, as appropriate
Maintain desk procedures and retain a structured internal governance framework to ensure effective oversight of affiliate relationship
Provide guidance to Service Recipients and other key stakeholders to ensure responsibilities outlined within the Affiliate Relationship Management Program are fully understood
Ensure all required affiliate risk and performance assessments are completed
Ensure technology currently used as part of any affiliate relationship processes is designed to adhere to the requirements of the Affiliate Relationship Management Program
Facilitate the execution of Service Level Agreements (SLA) from and ensure reporting to evidence performance is obtained
Address affiliate performance issues that are resulting in additional risk to the organization
Coordinate with Finance to understand intercompany charges and ensure alignment with the inventory of affiliate relationships
Identify training needs and develop training required
Required Skills and Preferred Experience
Education – Bachelor’s Degree and 5 to 7 Years of Experience in Compliance or Risk Management, Preferably Within the Financial Services Industry
Communication – Strong Interpersonal, Presentation and Written Skills
Relationship Management – Persuasive and Respectful
Industry Knowledge – Familiarity and Experience with Regulation W, Affiliate Relationships, Intercompany Services and Third Party Risk Management
Analytical and Conceptual Thinking – Creative and Strategic
Change Management – Resourceful and Flexible
Integration – Joining People, Processes or Systems
Technologically Adept – Microsoft Office and Other Technology Applications
