Aon is looking for a Senior Investment Data Product Lead in Chicago, IL
Job Responsibilities:
Calculate composite performance for a series of investment portfolios and proprietary funds
Gather, format, and manipulate data on a daily, quarterly, and annual basis to deliver reporting to clients
Coordinate and communicate across different teams and systems
Lead the quarterly and annual audits and data verification processes to confirm compliance with standards and regulations
Support Sales and RFP Teams to provide composite performance data for prospective clients
Provide other internal reporting and ad hoc investor requests as required
Quality assurance of input data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Document and maintain all procedure documents
Prepare and organize data and reports using Excel and custom composite performance software
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, mathematics, data science
5+ years of experience within financial services with a focus on performance calculation
CFA or CIPM track is preferred, but not required
Familiarity with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) is required
Excellent ability to communicate and coordinate with internal data providers, sales executives, and auditors, including technical compliance guidelines
Outstanding analytical, problem solving, data management skills
Project management skills to build and manage the project schedule for repetitive deliverables and one-time requests
Proficiency in a team environment requiring strong communication and balancing ongoing work with urgent client requests
Must be highly functional with the MS Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently or leverage team resources on multiple projects and manage deadlines from various stakeholders
Excellent planning and organization skills
Solid oral and written communications skills
The position will require overtime as needed; the individual must have the flexibility to work additional hours with little or no notice

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $111,000 to $148,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
