Job Title: Senior EstimatorJob Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of commercial and public construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate and competitive bids. Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project conditions. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Review and evaluate subcontractor bids for accuracy and completeness. Participate in pre-bid meetings and bid openings. Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders. Monitor and update cost databases and estimating software. Provide support during project handover to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution.

This is a fully on-site position in Chicago, Illinois.

Work Environment

2 office locations: one located in downtown Chicago and one located in Rosemont, both right off the CTA Blue Line. 100% of time spent at their Rosemont office. WFH flexibility on an as-need basis (doctors appointment, illness, etc..)
