The Opportunity

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Senior Analyst to join the World of Hyatt loyalty team. Candidate for this position should demonstrate strong critical-thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and a high level of initiative and resourcefulness while producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. It is critical this person can understand complex business processes related to the financial management of the loyalty program. The Role

This position will work closely with the loyalty strategy team, loyalty operations, and loyalty finance to bring together a holistic view of the financial health of the loyalty program. Additionally, this role will be responsible for proactively identifying trends and business opportunities for the Loyalty team by bringing insight through data analysis which will allow for informed strategy and business development.

•Responsible for the accurate budgeting and forecasting of the program’s revenues and expenses.

•Provide monthly quantitative and qualitative updates on key financial metrics. Including variance analysis of revenue, expenses, point issuances, revenue per point, cost per point, etc.

•Monthly monitoring of program financial operation metrics including retro requests, transaction processing, manual processes, etc. to reduce costs associated with these items.

•Work closely with other loyalty teams in the development of business cases that will guide the strategic direction of the program, making the case for changes to the program's structure, enhancements, or partnership changes.

•Effectively communicate strategic considerations and business insights into actionable recommendations to internal business stakeholders.

•Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes.

•Keep up to date on the loyalty landscape, including competitive benefits, financial structure, and promotions.

•Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt's core values.

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

•Three or more years of experience in financial analysis or related field

•Excellent analytical skills with the ability to produce actionable recommendations

•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Intermediate skills for other Microsoft Office applications required

•Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

•Excellent communication skills including writing and presentations

Experience Preferred:

•Previous hospitality experience in a finance or accounting role

•Ability to query databases and extract data
