Job Description:
McDonald’s has long been an industry leader, innovating to deliver improvements in the experience for our customers and restaurant teams. In recent years, digital platforms have become an increasingly critical part of delivering phenomenal customer and crew experience. We have invested to build assets and capabilities that will take advantage of this growing consumer interest in digital, including upgrades to the mobile app, as well as installation of self-order kiosks, and digital menu boards.
The Senior will be part of the Business Advisory Services team within the Corporate FP&A Group.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with the Finance team to support the annual Enterprise Prioritization process, providing analysis and insights to aid leadership decision-making.
Partner with initiative owners and Finance Business Partners to understand the progression of key enterprise projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Manage and interpret data related to strategic initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
Conduct financial modeling to create the framework for setting annual G&A targets as well as assess the impact of strategic initiatives.
Support the preparation of executive-level presentations and reports, summarizing financial insights and recommendations.
Oversee the monthly close process and ensure accurate reporting of CEO, TIP (Target Incentive Plan), Benefit, and SBC (Stock-Based Compensation) line items by collaborating with cross-functional teams to reconcile variances and ensure alignment between actuals and forecasts.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to facilitate the month-end close process, including issue resolution, budget owner management, variance analysis, and monthly reporting
Cultivate robust business partnerships with an organization significant in size, complexity, and stature
Assist with special projects (e.g., build cost-benefits analyses, advise on cost savings, etc.)

The expected salary range for this role is $$75,700- $94,620 per year

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience; previous FP&A, Big 4, or similar experience preferred
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Leadership and department owners of financial outcomes of business decisions; ability to tell the Customer Experience Finance story.
Proven track record of managing competing priorities and addressing roadblocks -desire to work independently amid ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Strong aptitude with financial systems
Ability to handle and analyze large amounts of data quickly and efficiently
Strong interpersonal skills - ability to interact with all disciplines, levels, and cultures and build relationships
A strategic mindset, bias towards action, skepticism of the status quo, and can-do attitude - someone who is not afraid to dig in, uncover problems, and find solutions as a collective team
