SRW Senior Account Executive in Chicago, Illinois

Ragtag bunch of hooligans seek a Senior Account Executive who is good at communicating and a natural problem solver.

About the job:

The Senior Account Executive has a knack for understanding people and an ability to build strong connections with clients, partners and internal teams. They learn the ins and outs of our clients’ business and translate that knowledge within the agency. They are the “hub of the wheel” and keep the agency focused on creating strategic, integrated campaigns on time and on budget. The Senior Account Executive’s consistent work is the foundation for how we get a client, please a client and repeat that process many times over.

The Senior Account Executive manages client relationships for assigned accounts, partners closely with strategy, media, public relations, influencer marketing and creative teams to execute marketing campaigns and ad hoc assignments, and tracks KPIs and client expectations to hold all work accountable. They know how to foster an environment that brings ideas to life and how to distill complex information so it’s easily understood. Above all, the Senior Account Executive is the master at getting shit done.

  • You have strong attention to detail and organization skills; nothing gets past you!

  • You possess an unrivaled proactiveness and hustle, and adapt quickly when plans inevitably change

  • You are highly curious about our business, our clients’ business, the industry and beyond

  • You are a natural-born problem solver with a detective/hunter mentality; you can balance setting client expectations and delivering great work

  • You have a growth mindset; you are constantly practicing and adapting the art of selling ideas and presenting

  • You hear the goal in client feedback and know how to translate it for a team

  • You are an accountable partner who demonstrates the resilience to work across a number of projects and balance a workload

  • You build trust and strong relationships with client counterparts and internal agency teams

  • You ensure the team is tracking towards their tasks, goals and KPIs

  • You demonstrate a sense of responsibility and accountability for moving the agency and clients’ businesses forward

  • You maintain a great attitude, collaborative nature, sense of humor and personal desire to drive and produce amazing work

  • You have a passion for all things digital/social

  • You keep a pulse on the industry and competitive landscape for inspiration and regularly share these findings with the team

Additional Qualifications:

  • A degree in journalism, marketing, communications, English or related fields; or equivalency in experience

  • 4+ years agency or client-side marketing experience

  • 1+ years experience leading work for a CPG brand sold in-store or online preferred

Senior Account Executive salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 based on relevant work experience.
