What You'll Do
Are you a marketing professional looking for a unique and exciting opportunity to make a significant impact?
Principal Financial Group is seeking a Strategist, Marketing to join our world-class team. As a strategist, you will play a crucial role in implementing strategic initiatives across the B2B segments.
Support cross audience strategic initiatives to drive growth
Assist with developing innovative strategic recommendations that effectively engage and activate specific target audiences
Drive the execution of customer journeys, marketing campaigns, initiatives and product development
Cultivate a solid understanding of target market research, marketing and competitor trends, market dynamics and regulations
Track, analyze and communicate results- optimize based on results
Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of related work experience helping to building strategic marketing programs that deliver strong results
Knowledge of the marketing profession and modern marketing strategies
Ability to translate data analytics into implications
Solid strategic and critical thinking skills
Ability to influence to bring stakeholders together to deliver a consistent message
Some travel required, including overnight stays

General understanding across the entire customer journey with Principal
An understanding of the competition and market opportunities and customer experience
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$77350 - $147600 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
