Neuberger Berman Research Analyst in Chicago, Illinois
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Research Analyst to join our Non-Investment Grade Credit platform. Our goal is to further deepen our research resources and position our team to build upon our long-term track record of performance. We are seeking a candidate with deep experience in the leveraged loan market. The successful candidate will join a large team of Research Analysts, Traders and Portfolio Managers responsible for managing high yield and leveraged loan assets.
Responsibilities :
Proactively identify and implement investment ideas across coverage sectors
Evaluate and integrate industry trends into actionable investment recommendations
Maintain a high quality and consistent work product with respect to financial modeling, analysis of credit / industry trends, written credit reports and credit review presentations to Portfolio Managers
Establish and maintain management / industry relationships within covered industries
Qualifications :
Must have at least 2 years of relevant research experience (sell-side and/or buy-side)
Good communicator; strong written and verbal communication skills sufficient to share ideas and influence portfolio outcomes along with Portfolio Managers and colleagues
Hard-working and proactive, with the ability to independently evaluate investment ideas within covered industries and take ownership of investment performance
Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills sufficient to evaluate company-specific and industry level data, and synthesize this information into actionable investment ideas
Strong accounting and financial modeling experience required; CFA or MBA preferred
Candidate must obtain Series 7 & 66 within six months of joining
Strong academic credentials and achievement
