TEKsystems REMOTE: Project Coordinator in Chicago, Illinois

Description: 100% Remote PC

This Microsoft Project Coordinator role will coordinate complex Windows Application Server Upgrades:

• Microsoft application server upgrade engineer (Windows 2008, 2012, 2022)

• Microsoft Azure and or AWS experience

• Project Coordinator to administer and organize a Windows Server Migration project.

Roles and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Working closely with our Engagement Manager, Practice Architect, Windows Server Engineers to achieve project goals and objectives

• Maintain and prepare correspondence (written and electronic) and project documentation

• Act as a liaison with the customers vendors

• Act on tasks from our internal team to assist with schedule management

• Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary

• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise

• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants

• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions

• Coordinate current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track

• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current and stored

• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing meeting minutes and emails

• To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines

• Ultimately, the Project Coordinator’s duties are to work with the team ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet high quality standards

Job Qualifications and Experience:

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• 3+ years project coordination with preference for Windows project coordination

• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

• Ability to interact and collaborate successfully with a wide variety of business, operating, and technical staff

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail

• Takes initiative, displays a strong work ethic and maintains a positive attitude.

Qualifications/Education:

• High School diploma or GED required

• 3 years of project management or project coordination preferably in healthcare

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and SharePoint
