As a Junior Accessibility Tester, youll become a trusted partner, working hand-in-hand with design professionals, leaders, product managers, and engineers to elevate our products.

Key Responsibilities

 Conduct accessibility testing on assigned products and report WCAG violations.

 Meet productivity and quality benchmarks while demonstrating testing proficiency.

 Understand accessibility testing methods, tools, and applications.

 Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and Engineering to support testing throughout the product lifecycle.

 Work with a Testing Lead to ensure timely, accurate completion of all testing requests.

 Prioritize testing tasks effectively.

 Gain expertise in bug drafting and reporting tools.

 Implement feedback received to improve processes.

 Complete tasks promptly, including training and time tracking.

 Adhere to the companys accessibility policies and guidelines.

 Stay updated on evolving accessibility standards and industry trends.

 Continuously enhance skills in accessibility testing.

 Demonstrate a commitment to the companys core values.

Skills and Requirements

Strong emotional intelligence and deep empathy

 Passionate about disability advocacy

 3 years in the accessibility testing field

 Understanding of WCAG guidelines.

 Experience with assistive technologies (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, Voiceover, Talkback, & Dragon) and testing tools (e.g., axe, PAC3, & CCA)

 Demonstrated success facilitating testing efforts across multi-disciplinary teams.

 Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

 Strong ability to influence and be able to effectively deal with ambiguous situations and make decisions.

 Knowledge of JIRA or similar for logging and tracking bugs. Bachelor's degree required

 IAAP certification (CPACC, WAS, etc.) preferred

 DHS v5 Trusted Tester certification preferred null
