Job Summary
As a DG Analyst, you will be responsible for building your Dangerous Goods (DG) knowledge for all modes of transportation, conducting regulatory research, classifiying DG products for our Fortune 500 Customers and regulatory projects for customers. Essential Functions & Principal Accountabilities
Establishing regulatory credentials & expertise in DG regulations - DOT, IATA, ICAO, IMO, TDG & ADR
Conducting regulatory research & developing customer solutions
Locating & researching Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Classifying chemicals
Entering regulatory & part information in Dangerous Goods Information System (DGIS)
Managing regulatory projects
Updating operational manuals
Updating training programs
Experience, Skills and Attributes We’re Looking For
3-5 years practical regulatory experience
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Ability to work with limited supervision
Unusually strong organizational skills
Highly detailed work process
Ability to conduct research
Professional adaptability
Ability to think creatively
Project management skills
Time management and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
