Architecture and Interior Design Firm in Downtown Chicago looking for a Project Architect to join their team!

Description:

• Management and preparation of documents throughout all project phases, from preliminary design through construction administration

• Will regularly communicate and coordinate with project managers, clients, internal team members, consultants, etc. on projects

• Participates in team meetings and assists project managers with defining project work plans

• May perform as Project Manager on projects with production work on others

• Will conduct QA/QC reviews on projects

• Potential participation in project reviews regarding project costs, budgets and adherence to schedule

• Performs construction observation tasks including submittal review, request for information responses, field observations, and meeting minutes

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Architecture or equivalent required

• 7 to 12 years of post graduate experience working in a traditional architecture firm

• Experience working on educational projects from Schematic Design through Construction Administration is highly preferred

• Proficient in producing documents in Revit is required; Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup are preferred

• Architectural License is preferred, but not required

• Ability to lead a team of 3 to 4 people and coordinate with external consultants
