Work Schedule: 8 Hr (8:00:00 AM - 4:30:00 PM)

Summary:

This position is responsible for program support of the Professional Nursing Practice (PNP) department at RUMC and the RUSH system. Working collaboratively with the PNP Senior Director, the program manager will lead on-going evaluation of PNP onboarding programs, support data management of nurse sensitive indicators and required metrics for Magnet, manage nursing student clinical placement and support pipeline programs. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree of Nursing required

•3-5 years of program management experience.

•Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models and selecting and successfully operationalizing innovative programs.

•Proficient in using technology as a management-reporting tool and experience working with information technology staff to develop and implement program evaluation systems.

•Strong project management skills managing complex, multi-faceted projects resulting immeasurable successes and program growth.

•Strong communication skills.

•Strong writing skills.

•Excellent interpersonal and formal presentation (virtual and in-person) skills.

•A high level of analytical ability.

•Ability to solve problems.

•Strong Excel and other database management skills.

•ANCC approved national certification within one year of hire

Preferred Job Qualifications:

•Masters or doctoral degree preferred.

•Experience with direct management of individuals and/or teams.

Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

•Develops and leads ongoing evaluation of PNP programs (NAPSO, charge and preceptor workshop, nurse residency, etc)

•Works with PNP team and leaders to develop objective performance measurements across all programs to ensure consistency and quality

•Leads identification, development, and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders (EQCs, CON, nursing schools, RUSH system PNP, etc)

•Provides system wide data management support for nurse sensitive indicator tracking, ANCC magnet program data requirements, etc

•Leads annual learning management system (LMS) review and serves as the PNP resource for building new modules

•Supports pipeline programming (PCT apprentice, RN apprentice, ADN to BSN, etc) maintenance and evaluation for RUSH system

•Collaborates with Human Resources on engagement survey efforts with nursing personnel

•Attends meetings and events, as needed.

• Maintains constructive collegial relations and collaborates with various schools of nursing for clinical placement.

•Coordinates nursing school contracts and other contracts as necessary

• Facilitates open communication and problem solving to ensure the effective coordination and integration of services

• Supports a positive work climate, promotes collaboration, and fosters decisive, independent thinking.

• Continuously invests in personal and professional growth, education and development and remains current on all matters relating to role.

•Supports data analysis of research/evidence-based practice/quality improvement projects

•Perform other related duties as assigned.
