Description

A high-stake’s plaintiff class action law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Docket Specialist to join their remote team. Ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience calendaring deadlines for a litigation practice, preferably out of Big Law. Prior experience at a class action law firm and familiarity with Bluebook citation preferred. Firm has offices around the US and candidate can sit 100% remote. Responsibilities:

• Calendar discovery, trial, and filing deadlines with precision

• Handle online and in-person legal filings in Federal and state courts

• Cite-check, proof, and finalize legal documents, including drafting Tables of Contents and Authorities

• Assist in drafting motions, affidavits, discovery, pro hac vice and out-of-state attorney admissions

• Coordinate service of summonses and subpoenas efficiently

• Help manage the firm's case files, calendar, and docketing system

  Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience calendaring deadlines for a litigation practice

• Expertise in California State Court rules

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and client service skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies (Bachelor's degree preferred)

• Prior experience at a class action law firm

• Ability to conduct legal research using Westlaw and PACER

• Familiarity with Bluebook citation
