Sargent & Lundy HRIS Analyst in Chicago, Illinois

Description

We are seeking a skilled HRIS Analyst to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing HR information systems, with a strong emphasis on reporting, data integrity, and system optimization . This role is essential in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our HRIS and supporting our HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and generate reports and analytics to support HR functions and decision-making.

  • Maintain and optimize the HR information system to meet organizational needs.

  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within the HRIS.

  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.

  • Provide end-user support and training for HRIS functionalities.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

  • Assist in the development and documentation of HRIS processes and procedures.

  • Stay current with HRIS trends and best practices to recommend system improvements.

    This position offers a hybrid schedule, with 3 office days per week and the remainder remote/virtual.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with HRIS systems, preferably in a professional services firm.

  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and best practices.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and report generation, with the ability to effectively communicate insights and tell a compelling story using Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with ERP system implementation and project management is a plus.

    Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with technical platforms such as Costpoint, Cornerstone, PowerBI , and iCIMS.
