Job Description

Publicis Media’s Talent team is seeking an Associate Director to support with driving people initiatives across a wide range of client groups within the Publicis Collective brand. The Associate Director will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the Talent function, driving programs and initiatives across the 800+ employee base and being a trusted Talent Partner for the 250 Chicago office employees. Not only will you work in lock step with your core Talent team and internal client teams; but you will also work with the broader Publicis Media Talent Team on initiatives to cultivate our unique culture and people practices.

Responsibilities :

  • Work in partnership with the Talent Lead and Talent Directors to deliver strategic Talent consulting to internal clients with a focus on strategic staff planning and development.

  • Take ownership of driving the Learning & Development strategy and objectives for the Agency, ensuring alignment to broader agency goals, and defining clear pathways for employee growth.

  • Lead key trainings for the Agency in line with business needs.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of value-added Talent programs such as employee and manager development programs, corporate social responsibility, and performance management.

  • Oversee all employee relations matters and investigations for named client groups to minimize organizational risk.

  • Build effective relationships and provide excellent client service by ensuring a positive employee experience.

  • Help drive people initiatives focusing on retention, engagement, recognition, and talent management.

  • Partner with the Talent Lead, Talent Directors, and Leadership team on action plans from employee engagement survey results.

  • Provide counseling and support on corporate policies and benefit programs.

  • Advise and respond quickly to the needs of leaders, managers and employees regarding general Talent and HR issues.

  • Partner with Shared Services to ensure operational execution.

  • Working closely with the Talent, Engagement, and Inclusion team (TEI) for Publicis Media and the Agency to support develop and manage objectives that promote and engage employees in core TEI programming and initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment.

  • Collaborating with the Talent team, Leadership, and client teams to implement and support the people and culture strategies, initiatives and programs that effectively support the mission, vision, values, and corporate objectives of our Agency.

  • Driving Talent programs and initiatives that promote an enhanced culture across the Agency and specifically for their employee base in Chicago.

  • Managing and developing Talent team member(s) ensuring clear objectives and focus areas are communicated, feedback is shared regularly, and opportunities to develop are provided.

  • Excellent presenter, comfortable educating and training large groups of employees.

  • Demonstrated experience managing and/or mentoring team members.

  • Knowledge of general HR practices, policies and pertinent legislation governing employment relations.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • A passion for or experience in Learning & Development.

  • Education/Knowledge: University Degree or Community college diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent industry experience.

  • Experience/Skill: 7-9 Years in the Human Resources field in a similar role.

Compensation Range: $96,000 -$131,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
