Robert Half Help Desk Analyst III in Chicago, Illinois

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst III in the healthcare and social assistance industry. This role is based in Chicago, Illinois and entails providing advanced desktop support, troubleshooting network issues, and handling hardware replacements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced desktop support to users, resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth operations. • Handle audio/visual work as required, assisting with the setup and troubleshooting of equipment. • Manage and maintain medical carts, ensuring the computers on the carts are in working order. • Address hardware issues, replacing components as necessary up to 90% of the time. • Perform open desktop computer tasks such as replacing computer supply and memory modules as needed. • Work with various devices including scanners, monitors, and laptops, ensuring they are operational and resolving issues as they arise. • Utilize Microsoft Office 10 & 11 to perform various tasks, demonstrating proficiency and troubleshooting skills. • Troubleshoot network issues, identifying and resolving connectivity problems to maintain efficient operations. • Provide support for the O365 cloud platform, addressing user issues and ensuring optimal performance. • Handle support for Citrix or VPN software, assisting users with setup, connectivity, and troubleshooting.

Skills: • Proficiency in Active Directory and Microsoft SCCM • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Office 365 • Familiarity with Citrix software. Requirements • Proven track record as a Help Desk Analyst or similar role. • Proficiency in Active Directory and Microsoft SCCM. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Office 365. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. • A commitment to continuous detail oriented development.
