Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Chicago, Illinois. This role is instrumental in our finance team, carrying out duties such as maintaining the current budget process, analyzing data, and managing vendor data and reporting. The successful candidate will also be involved in project budget tracking and facilitating transfer requests and reconciliations within internal departments.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and streamline the current budget process to ensure efficiency

• Analyze and interpret data to provide business insights

• Keep track of spend by project to ensure budget adherence

• Manage vendor data and reporting for smooth operations

• Monitor project budget tracking to ensure financial control

• Facilitate transfer requests and reconciliations within internal departments to ensure accurate financial records

• Utilize analysis skills to make informed decisions

• Apply knowledge of full cycle accounting in day-to-day tasks

• Use account reconciliation skills to maintain accurate records

• Utilize Excel Formulas and Oracle BI in daily tasks. Requirements • Possess a strong understanding of financial analysis techniques and methodologies

• Demonstrated proficiency in Full Cycle Accounting and General Accounting practices

• Proven experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficient in using Excel Formulas for financial computations and analysis

• Experience with Oracle BI or similar business intelligence tools

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and present it in a clear and concise manner

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required

• Previous experience in a Financial Analyst role is desirable.
