The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Local Central Index Unit/Cook County Production Control Unit Supervisor. Under direction, this position will analyze, evaluate, and implement policies and procedures for the Local Central Index Unit, including the Cook County Master File System and Production Control Unit. The position will monitor the unit to ensure operations are carried out efficiently and will confer with legal staff and state\'s attorneys regarding subpoena processing and procedural and work flow problems. The position will also direct and coordinate the editing and recording of child abuse and neglect files and oversee subordinate clerical staff. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is focused on ensuring that supportive functions and processes are fulfilled in an efficient, effective manner to provide the best possible service. Job Responsibilities

1. Serves as Local Central Index Unit/Cook County Production Control Unit Supervisor.

2. Serves as working Supervisor.

3. Confers with Legal staff and State\'s Attorneys, regarding su bpoena processing, and procedural and work flow problems.

4. Directs and coordinates, the editing and recording of child abuse and neglect files.

5. Confers with Management and recommends establishment or revision of policies and procedures, to
