Where We Need You:

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Compensation with Workday Expertise to join our growing Rewards and Recognition team at Protiviti.

What You Can Expect:

The Senior Manager of Compensation is a key player in shaping our company’s compensation landscape, ensuring alignment between individual achievements and broader business goals . This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in Workday, as they will be instrumental in leveraging this system to drive compensation initiatives . The successful candidate will act as a bridge between HR and IT functions, guaranteeing that technological implementations enhance the efficacy and accuracy of our compensation strategy .

What You Will Do :

  • Evaluate current compensation structures using advanced Workday analytics and recommend targeted enhancements that support corporate objectives .

  • Serve as the primary liaison between HR Technology teams and the broader organization, providing expert-level guidance on Workday’s functionality related to compensation management.

  • Uphold an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and best practices within the realm of compensation, leveraging insights gained from Workday reporting capabilities.

  • Spearhead critical projects focused on refining reward systems which are facilitated through data-driven insights.

  • Collaborate closely with the IT department to ensure that all updates or changes within Workday align with technological roadmaps, enabling seamless corporate business services.

  • Perform comprehensive market data analysis to uphold our Company’s competitive edge while adhering to internal guidelines.

  • Oversee cyclical merit increases and bonus distributions , maintaining compliance with legal standards and SOX requirements.

  • Engage in salary surveys submission and analysis to benchmark our market position accurately.

  • Influence managerial decisions concerning compensation matters by presenting compelling data analyses.

  • Manage a Senior Compensation Analyst while fostering their development within a culture of excellence that leverages advanced technology.

    Your Educational and Professional Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in progressive roles within compensation; at least 3 years leading high-performing teams required .

  • Extensive knowledge working within a global company is highly desirable.

  • Consulting experience adds significant value.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated expertise in Workday.

  • Familiarity with Pay Factors and Varicent is beneficial.

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.

    Our Hybrid Workplace  

    Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements vary by client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$123,000.00 - $197,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$135,300.00 - $216,700.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
