Summary:

We are seeking a Speech Analytics Specialist responsible for the overall performance and quality of speech analytics category design. This role involves working cross-functionally with various internal and external groups, collaborating and synthesizing analyses for implementing scorecards, and leading projects related to the speech analytic platform. The ideal candidate will be skilled in data extrapolation, query development, and standardizing external files, making recommendations to improve the company's processes. You will work closely with other analysts and specialists to develop an outstanding product focusing on accuracy, understandability, and performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement statistical language models and computational frameworks to process massive volumes of data. Engineer prototypes in programming languages such as Python, Java, or R.

• Recognize pertinent language patterns and conversational content that lead to business value.

• Analyze recorded audio and audio-based data sets for critical insights and optimize system performance by configuring keyword phrases.

• Develop and/or apply statistical modeling techniques, optimization methods, and other ML techniques for natural language applications.

• Participate in the design, development, evaluation, deployment, and updating of data-driven models and analytical solutions for natural language applications.

• Identify opportunities through trend analysis and provide ongoing speech category design improvements.

• Determine call events (keywords and phrases) for software training to support analytics and business goals.

• Provide weekly/monthly reports to management and business units.

• Familiarity with Voice User Interface (VUI) documents.

• Use various testing methods to measure the impact of ongoing campaigns and new initiatives.

• Build positive relationships, make decisions, and communicate findings to executives and partners.

Project and Daily Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update scripts, and perform ad hoc data analysis requiring Python.

• Work with SQL, PowerBI, and Tableau to find trends and predict future behavior.

• Validate existing reports for accuracy by manually recalculating results.

• Maintain detailed design documents to ensure clear and complete metric definitions.

• Standard working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM with no overtime expected. Hybrid working is allowed with some flexibility in hours due to the team being coast to coast.

  Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or High School diploma/GED plus three years of equivalent experience.

• Programming experience in one or more of the following: Java, C++, Python, or equivalent.

• Experience managing large datasets, both structured and unstructured.

• Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals.

• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

• Ability to accomplish goals with little or no supervision, and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.

Top Must-Have Skills:

• Programming Languages: Python, R, Spark, SQL

• PowerBI

Top Nice-to-Have Skills:

• IVR/Call Center technology experience

• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing

• Power Flow Apps in SharePoint
