Job Description
Position Summary
The IT Business Analyst will lead and participate in cross-functional special projects and initiatives, providing vital support to our marketing business partners. The primary focus of the role will be working collaboratively with cross-function teams on driving processes standardization and efficiencies and supporting the establishment of best practices for each project. Success in this position hinges on a proactive, team-oriented mindset and the ability to navigate and adapt to ambiguous situations with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain roadmaps that outline current and future capabilities for the web site and marketing platforms (including email, social platform and others)
Assist in project planning, including defining scope, timelines, resource needs, and support project execution.
Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
Develop and execute test cases and validate solutions to ensure they meet requirements and business needs.
Create and maintain user guides, training materials, process maps and workflows to visualize business processes and system interactions
Serve as the liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Support the change management process by assessing the impact of changes and facilitating user adoption.
Analyze complex business problems and design effective solutions
Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including drafting RFP documents, coordinating with vendors, and evaluating vendor proposals to assist in selecting the best solution for the organization
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Business Analysis
Experience in leading or contributing to technology projects, such as system implementations or software development. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing platforms is highly desirable.
Knowledge of software development life cycles, databases, and system integration.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience working on IT projects, including requirement analysis, testing, and implementation.
Practical experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), including Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and tools (e.g., Jira)
Compensation
Salary type: Exempt
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
Annual Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000
Annual Bonus: 15%
