We are offering a role for a Business Analyst in the non-profit sector, situated in Chicago, Illinois. The successful candidate will primarily focus on documenting and managing business requirements, specifications, and business process changes. Your role will be a crucial one, consulting with both internal and external users of our platform/software and providing support in an Agile Scrum environment.

Responsibilities:

• Documenting and managing business requirements and specifications in collaboration with stakeholders

• Analyzing and modeling data flow and workflow as part of the solution development process

• Creating user stories and acceptance criteria within an Agile Scrum framework

• Interacting with business stakeholders to identify, assess, and document business and technical requirements

• Utilizing excellent communication skills to clearly and persuasively communicate complex business and technical concepts to a range of audiences

• Developing process diagrams, page wireframes, and/or page mock-ups to illustrate requirements when needed

• Assisting the Quality Assurance team in translating requirements/user stories into test scenarios and plans as required

• Utilizing advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and working knowledge of various tools used in managing Agile initiatives (Atlassian Jira, Database, EO/IR systems, Gap Analysis, Informatica, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Design)

• Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the non-profit industry and applying this knowledge to business requirements analysis.

Requirements • Comprehensive knowledge of Atlassian Jira platform

• Proficiency in database management and operations

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Ability to conduct Gap Analysis effectively

• Experience in utilizing Informatica for data integration tasks

• Proficiency in AB Testing methods and implementation

• Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies

• Comprehensive understanding of Business Process Functions

• Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents

• Proficiency in various Design tools and methodologies

• Experience in the Non-Profit industry

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst or similar role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
