Description

Robert Half is seeking a full-time Attorney to join a wonderful law firm in Chicago, Illinois. The role is set within the financial services sector and will involve significant work with commercial foreclosures, bankruptcy matters, and collections. The Attorney will be expected to handle a large caseload, assist multiple partners and clients simultaneously, and use strong IT skills to facilitate a less paper-intensive practice approach.

Responsibilities:

• Representing banks in significant commercial foreclosure cases, ensuring all legal procedures are followed and the rights of the client are protected.

• Handling bankruptcy matters with a focus on creditors' rights, utilizing a keen understanding of bankruptcy laws and procedures.

• Managing collections for commercial clients, using tact and diplomacy to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.

• Working with UCC sales, ensuring all transactions are carried out in accordance with legal requirements.

• Addressing lender liability issues, providing advice and guidance to clients on their rights and responsibilities.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, using strong organizational skills to manage a large caseload.

• Resolving client inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner, using strong communication skills to ensure client satisfaction.

• Monitoring client accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary, using decision-making skills to determine the best course of action.

• Utilizing strong IT skills to facilitate a less paper-intensive approach to practice, improving efficiency and accuracy.

• Engaging in interpersonal dealings with compassion and decisiveness, fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders.

Requirements

• Applicant must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of an Attorney.

• Applicant must be a Licensed Attorney.

• Experience in handling Foreclosure cases is necessary.
