Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate and Commercial Litigation Associate based in CHICAGO, Illinois, United States. This role is within the legal industry, where you will be involved in the review and preparation of corporate documents and contracts, conducting legal research, drafting briefs, preparing, and arguing motions, handling fact and expert discovery, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and preparing corporate documents and contracts

• Conducting comprehensive legal research

• Resolving complex commercial litigation issues

• Utilizing commercial litigation skills to resolve complex legal issues Requirements • The candidate must possess a degree in Law from a recognized institution.

• Proficiency in Commercial Litigation is essential.

• Prior experience as an Associate in a law firm or legal department of a corporate organization is preferred.

• Strong research and report-writing skills are required.

• Proficiency in legal software is an advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.

• The candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• The ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity is crucial.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team is needed.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are expected.

• The candidate must be able to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies.

• Proficiency in negotiation and conflict resolution is desirable.

• The candidate must be able to provide sound legal advice to clients and represent them effectively in court.

• A commitment to continuing detail oriented development and staying updated with changes in law is essential.
