We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Engineer with our client located in Chicago, Illinois! This role is essential to our team as it involves collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining software applications, and leading teams to optimize business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to effectively gather business unit requirements.

• Participate in high-level design processes for software application support projects.

• Install, maintain, and optimize software applications to streamline business operations.

• Supervise team members by delegating project tasks and providing guidance.

• Collaborate with different areas of IT and handle escalated application support issues.

• Provide timely reports on the status of projects as well as any unforeseen issues to management and business units.

• Demonstrate leadership and professionalism both internally and externally.

• Ensure staffing levels are appropriate to provide service and meet deadlines.

• Develop teams through coaching, feedback, and performance management skills.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and customers.

• Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, quality, and accountability.

• Ensure thorough documentation of installation and application maintenance procedures.

  Requirements

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies and Dell Technologies

• Strong knowledge of Database management and Microsoft SQL

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and Configuration Management

• Experience in AB Testing and Active Directory

• Ability to provide Application Support and troubleshoot Computer Hardware

• Knowledge of ITIL - IT Infrastructure Library and ITIL Processes

• Proficient in Servicenow Application and MS Office 365

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Control-M

• Demonstrated Leadership Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite

• Familiarity with cloud-based systems.
