Position Summary

Come join an exciting team within Global Information Security (GIS). Cyber Security Technology (CST) is a globally distributed team responsible for cyber security innovation, architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support.

  • The Product Management team within CST is responsible for optimizing delivery of the bank's cybersecurity capabilities:

  • Establishing productive, collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors. Governing and coordinating activities through the product lifecycle.

  • Managing priorities, risks, and objectives seamlessly, transparently, and unconditionally.

Key Responsibilities:

The Application Security Product Manager will be an individual contributor working with the Application Security Product Manager Lead. This is a role for an individual that can effectively engage cross functionally to:

  • Build and manage the roadmap for the assigned product/service area to achieve the business and client needs, on time and on budget.

  • Communicate the vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team and drive user adoption.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, problems and align them on priorities.

  • Formulate business case proposals for new products/feature delivery in alignment with business strategy.

  • Create and prioritize work for multiple teams. Experience with cross-functional teams is highly desired.

  • Define metrics that will be used to inform capability success.

  • Work in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business.

Qualifications:

What:

  • 5+ years of experience in a combination of product management, strategic planning, project/program management.

  • Demonstrates broad knowledge of modern Application Security technologies (such as public cloud, SaaS applications, SDLC, SAST/DAST/IAST, Application Assessment/Assurance, Software Architecture Analysis).

  • Understanding of operating in highly regulated industries.

  • Ability to track project/value stream variances to ensure work aligns with strategy.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Eagerness to learn new proprietary toolsets and vendor technologies

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills; influence through storytelling.

  • Deep critical thinking with ability to negotiate with grace.

Enterprise Role Overview:

Responsible for maximizing the value for a product. Defines the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team. Works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment. Possess a working knowledge of the product, and basic understanding of the business or technology domain. With some guidance, creates the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain. Communicates the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs and problems. Creates and prioritizes work for one team. Learning to collaborate with cross-functional teams. With some guidance, creates and prioritizes stories in the product backlog. Refines stories with the team to ensure there are enough ready stories to load the next 1-2 sprints. Reviews and accepts stories and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements. Works in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business. Individual contributor.
