We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the Financial Services industry based in Chicago, Illinois. We are in search of an Entry Level Analyst to join our team. The role will revolve around processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries. Additionally, this role will involve monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer credit

• Resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate actions as needed

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks

• Assisting in the coding of accounts to ensure accurate financial records

• Learning and utilizing various accounting software systems for efficient job performance

• Contributing to our Entry Level - Finance team by sharing ideas and collaborating on projects

• Continuously improving processes and systems to enhance customer service and efficiency

• Adhering to all financial regulations and standards in the industry.

Requirements • Possession of a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of general accounting principles and financial statements

• Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Willingness to continue professional development and stay abreast of current accounting trends and regulations.
