About the role

• Our Chicago Heights team, composed of 40 people. The position is integrated into the industrial function and focuses on QHSE in collaboration with plant production.

• As a QHSE Engineer, you will work on QHSE procedures, trainings, and audits and X to support plant objectives. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the success of the plant Health, Safety and Environmental objectives and have a positive impact on the overall success of the plant. Initial integration into the role will focus on HSE improvement with eventual development into quality systems support.

• You will be accountable for:

• Deployment of site QHSE policies, procedures and standards

• Incident analysis, root cause, corrective action and reporting

• Ensure compliance with QHSE policies through routine auditing

• We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.

About you

• Relevant education degree or equivalent in HSE or other science background (Chemistry, Biology, etc).

• Relevant work experience in HSE, QHSE system management

• Competencies:

• Bachelor degree

• 2-5 years relevant experience in HSE, Quality or other systems management or other ISO systems management

• Behaviors:

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously

• Effectively respond to incidents and concerns

About the pay and benefits

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $80,000 to $110,000, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
