Who You Are:

As a Senior NetSuite Engineer in Test for Oracle Local Government you will play a meaningful role in designing, testing and validating a suite of Financial Applications and customizations built on the NetSuite platform.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Create and Test solutions on top of the NetSuite platform

  • Design and Build test automation that will integrate with Continuous Integration tools

  • Application release management

  • Defect management

  • Translate requirements into test cases

  • Creation of detailed user and technical documentation for new and existing customizations

  • Support the solutions that you test in production

  • Resolve development / troubleshoot solution issues and get final delivery done according to time constraints

  • Support new team members

  • Participate in Test and Code Reviews

  • Focus on quality and application performance

  • Follow the SCRUM framework & methodology

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ experience in ERP Finance

  • 4+ year of experience in QA Testing and Automation

  • Automated test scripts.

  • Used Test case management tools

  • Experienced with Continuous Integration tools like Bamboo or Jenkins

  • Experienced in writing test plans based on requirements.

  • Debugged complex technical problems in test and production

  • Worked in Agile frameworks

  • Worked with Jira and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Local Government Financial Experience

  • NetSuite knowledge

  • Used scripting language like Javascript, PHP or Perl.

  • Are familiar with testing and debugging applications written in Javascript

  • Understand Test-driven-development (TDD)

  • Are able to write Selenium tests (using Java or a Java-like language such as Groovy).

  • Have used Xray Test case management tool in Jira

  • Knowledge of Jasmine or Karma to test Javascript

  • Understanding of structured query language (PL/SQL), relational database design, and stored procedure development with Oracle

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

This job requires proficiency in the English language.
