Oracle Oracle Health Systems Engineer II in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Job Description

As an Systems Engineer II, you will partner with Oracle Health clients for integrated technology deployment of hardware, software, and services. You will be responsible for cultivating client relationships to achieve business objectives as well as consult with clients on technical architecture decisions. In addition, you will also consult with clients and internal teams on the deployment of hardware, software and services, and manage third party and medical device integration across domains. As a member of the team, you will complete hardware and software installations for clients, while also supporting the client software functionality. In addition, you will be responsible for performing technical troubleshooting and issue resolution escalating as appropriate. Finally, you will need to understand the EHR system functionality and tools as well as stay up to date with system information changes and updates.

Responsibilities

Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy applications and ensure maximum efficiency in the use of those applications. Respond to requests for support by users. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Applications. Log bugs against applications and follow up with IT and Development. Monitor future applications releases. Train users on features of applications. Maintain applications responsibilities based on work group of user. Act as reporting resource. Represent users at Data Center meetings, user meetings at quarter end and whenever necessary.

Preferred background: Healthcare IT, experience with EHR, Millennium

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2-4 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
