Overview

PITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Business Summer Intern. This internship position is located at our Pittsburgh, PA Terminal.

Responsibilities

• Update, remove, and create internal processes for the Vehicle Maintenance department. • Update cyber security manuals to ensure they reflect current best practices and company policies. • Build Permit Pouches for all 2025 incoming equipment. • Organize and clean up the title fire safe, ensuring everything is labeled and in order. • Collaborate with various departments to gather information and understand workflow inefficiencies. • Develop and implement process improvement plans. • Document new procedures and create training materials for staff. • Assist in the development and maintenance of process maps and standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented changes. • Support project management activities as needed. • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, Cyber Security, Operations Management or a related field.

• Minimum GPA of at least 3.0• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Previous internship or project experience in process improvement or cyber security is a plus.
