Job Description

The Concessions Stand Manager supports the event operations team in running successful food and beverage concessions stands within the location. Responsible for running the operation of the concession stand including the cashiers, cooking, and prep areas. The Concession Stand Manager will oversee cleanliness, product quality, customer service, stand safety, food safety, and alcohol service.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee all operations of the concession stand which includes:

Opening and Closing procedures for the stand operation.

Responsible for training all workers, creating efficient, and enjoyable work areas and being prepared for high volume work during busy times.

Train volunteers to operate cash registers, serve food and beverages, prepare food, and close the stand at event end.

Performs beginning and closing shift inventories, ensuring all proper cash/credit system handling procedures are followed.

Oversee volunteer sign-up and track attendance sheets of all volunteers in the location for proper work payment.

Provide excellent customer service to all guests.

Follow food safety policies and procedures as prescribed by ServSafe Food Safety and Alcoholic Beverage service.

Requirements

Previous customer service experience preferred.

Previous food service experience preferred.

Demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Must be able to complete the ServSafe Alcohol Service training as required.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must be able to work event-based hours . Hours may vary, depending on sports season and number of events scheduled in a week. Expect to work nights and weekends.

$25-$30 hourly rate
